What the packet needs

The interview collects donor identity, donor mailing address, donee name and address, relationship, gift date, cash amount, basis, and valuation method. For cash gifts, the valuation method can usually be described as cash transferred at face amount.

What the tool blocks

The current tool blocks split gifts, GST transfers, trusts, current tax due, prior gift-tax history, and donor death during the year. Those facts need a professional workflow before this product should support them.

How the draft workflow ends

The app generates a watermarked draft Form 709 preview plus draft support pages for review. Official filing, signature, mailing, and proof records happen outside Tax Paperwork after independent review.

Consider professional review

Cash gifts can still need CPA, EA, or attorney review when gift splitting, GST, trusts, prior-year filing, donor death, or tax-due facts are present. Tax Paperwork does not match users with professionals.

Start with eligibility

Use the scope gate first. If the facts stay supported, continue into donor and gift entry. If the facts are blocked, do not force the paper workflow.
